Hi there, I'm Louis
I'm a project manager and a parent. An expatriate residing in Paris, France.
A while back I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary assignment gradually became a whole new chapter of life overseas.
How It Started
Moving to France wasn't in the long-term plan for the future. Like many expatriate relocations, it began as a work opportunity and soon grew into something far more significant.
The initial months were demanding — unfamiliar systems, new routines, fresh expectations. Daily tasks seemed more complex than they needed to be.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, uncertainty, and plenty of hands-on learning. Yet, gradually routines settled in. We found places that suited us, connected with other families, and began crafting something that felt steady.
Why I Built Echo Leaf Studio
Most online information was either corporate relocation advice or shallow tourism material. What was missing was an honest, everyday family perspective.
This site aims to bridge that gap — practical guidance drawn from real life in France.
